About Rev. Cheryl

Cheryl Swing is the Author of Soul Purpose, a Trauma Chaplain, Spiritual Mentor, Officiant, Storyteller, Bridgebuilder and Motivational Speaker.  She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska and earned a Master's of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. In 2018, Cheryl was honored as the Ronald E. Sleeth Preacher of the Year and in 2020, awarded an Author Fellowship with the Martha's Vinyard Institute for Creative Writing.

Cheryl is an Ordained Clergywoman in the United Church of Christ (UCC) and her soul work is grounded in Philanthropy, Storytelling and Radical Hospitality. Outside the breadth of her work, Cheryl is mom to her daughter and dog mom to her spirited Rez dog. She is an avid stained-glass artist, Boot Camper, hiker, cyclist, paddleboarder, wine lover and culinary enthusiast.
